Major Project:

The project included "Evaluation of Reproductive toxicity of Calcium

polysulfide in rats", Dept. Of Toxicology, Haffkine Institute, Mumbai.

(June 2012- January 2013)

o Project helped me in gaining experience in various laboratory

techniques.

o Also improved my skill in handling instruments such as Bio-

Safety level II cabinet & ELISA reader.

Minor Project:

"Development and evaluation of formulation using Cetrimide and

bioenhancer for the treatment of dandruff" at SPP-STM NMIMS, Mumbai

(January 2013- April 2013).

. Undertook Research project on 'HPTLC PROFILING, FRACTIONATION AND ANTI-

INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY OF ACACIA NILOTICA PODS'.

Achievements and Co-curricular activities:

. Attended seminar & conducted 'HIV-AIDS AWARENESS & EMPOWERMENT

CAMPAIGN' on behalf of Indian Pharmaceutical Association-Student's

Forum (IPA-SF) & Indian Pharmaceutical Association-Maharashtra State

Branch (IPA-MSB) & secured 1st & 2nd place at National level in the

year 2009-2010 respectively.

Poster presented:

"HPTLC profiling, fractionation and anti-inflammatory activity of

Acacia nilotica pods" at 13th Congress of the International Society

for Ethnopharmacology at Graz, Austria (September-2012).

. Submitted the review article 'Synthetic Medicinal Approach: An Edge

over Herbal Remedy in Perspective with Breast Cancer' in the college

magazine 'Spectrum' in the year 2011.

Workshops attended:

"Principle & Practice of Laboratory Animal Care" conducted at Haffkine

Institute for Training, Research & Testing, Mumbai as a trainee and had

hands on training on handling of laboratory animals.

"HPLC-Instrumentation, Applications and Troubleshooting" by Shimadzu

Analytical India Pvt. Ltd. in October 2011.

Conferences attended:

22nd National Conference of the Indian Society of Hypertension - "BPCON

2012" held at NMIMS University. (2012)

Indo-Canadian Symposium on "Nutritional intervention with omega 3 fatty

acids in hypertension" held at NMIMS University, Mumbai. (2012)

3rd Indian Pharmaceutical Association-Students Congress (IPA-SC) as a

delegate at SVKM'S NMIMS, Mumbai from 2nd to 4th August 2010.

. Participated in Pharmacy Health Awareness Campaign and blood donation

campaign at Bandra in 2010.

. Participated & captained the Volley ball & Cricket teams at Rx sports

festival from 2007 to 2011.

. Participated & awarded 'Grade of White-1 belt Kyu' in the martial arts

of Go-Jo-Ryu in the year 2002-2003.
