WORK EXPERIENCE -
CONTRACT – EHD Technology, – Supply Chain / Logistics Analyst
(Magna Exteriors and Interiors – Spartanburg, SC) October 2012 – April 2013
As a contract employee I successfully completed a 6 month project for MAGNA. I was assigned to the BMW F-15 project launch. I
was directly responsible for Managing the F-15 warehouse and personnel training needs. I designed the floor layout and stocking
scheme for the F-15 warehouse. I setup a kit build pull system to support both sequenced and non-sequenced products being shipped
to the BMW production Facility to meet their daily requirements. Additional responsibilities were to interpret customer demand
requirements from EDI and Excel files. From this information I directly created and maintained the production build schedules for
the Headliner and Load-floor production lines. I generated capacity requirement plans to maintain molding production for all F-15
Pillar production. I created and maintained the Inspection document packets for each F-15 car kit that was packed and QA approved
prior to shipment. I worked directly with Suppliers to resolve quality and production issues. Over saw outside inspection teams as
they would perform in house rework for MAGNA suppliers. I was directly responsible for maintaining complete inventory listings of
all parts for the project.

As a contract employee I have successfully completed 2 remote location projects for MBUSI and 6 weeks on location at the MBUSI
facility in Alabama. My last assignment for MBUSI was on location in Juarez Mexico, for 9 weeks in an automotive lighting facility.
My objective was to integrate myself with the facilities manufacturing operations. I analyzed process flows, material logistics
internally and internationally. I implemented supermarket style kanban warehousing and line feed processes. I worked directly with
the purchasing department to help recommend and negotiate material flow contracts with suppliers. Additionally I analyzed peak
demand capacity for scheduling of the plant operations and made calculated recommendations for improvements. I worked directly
with the logistics department to schedule border crossing, flight arrangements and trucking schedules. I speak conversational and
work place Spanish, with the ability to read and write Spanish for reporting purposes. – My previous remote project, required my
analytical skills to help set up internal material flow and capacity planning for an automotive anodizing and polishing facility. For
both projects daily and weekly report presentations were required to update management as to the findings, recommendations and
progress with each task. I trained the staff on individual and in group environments of new practice changes and reviews of current
practices.
Gill Industries, Trenton, GA Position – Materials / Logistics Manager Jan 2010 – Aug 2010
As Materials / Logistics Manager I was responsible for all employees in Production Scheduling; Purchase Planning, Data Entry;
Customer Service (EDI and ASN management); Receiving Clerk; Order Pickers; Shipping and Warehousing and all company CDL
Tractor Trailer drivers. My functions are to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity with all internal and external, customer and
supplier warehouses as well as line stocking activities for the production floor. I direct purchase planning in negotiating pricing and
selection of suppliers as well as negotiate all logistics contracts. My direction of the scheduling planners and customer service drives
the capacity loading and flow of product through the manufacturing facility. I am responsible for maintaining profit and loss
statements for my department’s activities as related to the overall company performance as well as generating cost savings and
increased inventory turns.
Energy Absorption Systems, AL, LLC Pell City, AL Position – Prod/Inv Control Mgr. – Sourcing Specialist 2005 – 2009
As Production Control/Inventory Control Manager my duties were managing the Traffic and Logistics corporate wide along with the
Production Schedulers, Inventory Control Supervisor, Material Information Coordinator, and all Data Entry personnel. Additionally I
was accountable for inventory accuracy and financial reporting monthly to the Materials Manager and the Division President. I
maintained a 99.5% inventory accuracy each year at physical inventory which consisted of a 9.5 million dollar inventory. My
responsibilities over Traffic Logistics Sourcing included Truckload, LTL, Air, International Ocean Cargo and foreign to foreign trade
in 68 countries around the world. I maintain Transportation certifications in CFR 49 Haz-Mat and IATA. I negotiated contracts for all
modes of transportation generating an annual $700,000 savings in a $10,000,000 annual transportation budget. Additionally I wrote a
series of pricing programs to track/quote and schedule our freight per our negotiated contracts. Through this prepay and add freight
program we were able to generate an additional $600,000 revenue annually for the local facility. As Sourcing Specialist I continued to
negotiate and maintain all Traffic and Logistics contracts along with writing and negotiating contracts for VIM inventories and cost
reductions totaling over $200,000 annually for fasteners. Additionally I traveled to various suppliers around the nation to conduct
product and quality audits as part of the approved suppler program.
FAB Industries, LLC Anniston, AL Position – Purchasing Manager 2001-2005
As Purchasing Manager I converted DOS based inventory programs to Windows Based ACCPAC inventory control systems,
generated new item number structures and shop floor control procedures. My primary duties were to manage the purchasing and
material control staff, negotiate short and long term purchasing agreements for three U.S. and one Canadian facility with all suppliers
for CNG/LNG/Hydrogen components. I worked directly with customers in quoting new jobs and generating aftermarket sales. I
maintained all Bill of Materials, production and sales schedules along with material cost analysis spread sheets. I wrote and
programmed a VBA Excel program that tracks all aspects of employee time and job charges for invoicing purposes with multi report
sort functions.

1 Old Southern Industries, Inc. – Pell City, AL Position – General Manager (Interim)
As General Manager during the sickness of the owner’s husband, my duties were the full and complete operation of the facility. OSI
is a full service metals center with a CNC machine and fabrication shop. I maintained the weekly budgets, designed and estimated all
jobs and directed the Administration functions of the facility. In addition I designed and implemented an Excel base inventory
tracking system, designed and manufactured a motorized plasma cutting system, which in turn resulted in an 80 percent increase in
production for OSI.

As Purchasing Agent, my duties were to help the company through their chapter 11 filing. I negotiated purchasing terms and
conditions with suppliers.
1 Packaging Strategies Inc. – Baltimore Maryland Position – Contract Design and Engineering
With Packaging Strategies Incorporated, of Baltimore Maryland. I have designed, manufactured and trained on site usage of a multi-
station drilling jig and assembly process for PSI’s sub-contractor. In addition I defined and procured all materials for the production
of this item. I have designed and prototyped a number of items for PSI, which are currently being marketed in the United States.

Senior Mechanical Buyer and Contracts Specialist - Strategic Procurement for $45MM fully integrated Ruggidized Military
Computer Manufacturing Facility. Responsible for supplier evaluations and selection. Negotiations of all machining, sheet metal and
hardware annual contracts, additionally I estimated job cost as related to machine and fabricated items. Directly responsible for multi
million dollar cost reductions through competitive quoting.
NHB Industries, Inc., Talladega AL. Position - Purchasing/Materials Mgr. 1997-1998
Purchasing / Materials Manager for $125MM fully integrated Cabinet Manufacturing Facility. Responsible for price and contract
negotiations for corrugated packaging, lumber, board, metal-hardware and finishing materials as well as maintaining service contracts
on all manufacturing equipment. Negotiated annual contract, generating savings totaling more than $500,000 annually for abrasives
and corrugated materials. Implemented office and warehouse procedures to maintain online-real-time inventory, as well as designed
warehouse layout and location scheme for F-I-F-O stocking programs. Maintained time studies and traffic routing for material
movement throughout a 600,000 square foot manufacturing area. Directed 3 purchasing agents, 6 warehouse attendants, 10 material
handlers, 2 receiving clerks, and 2 production supervisors with 10 production workers.
Trinity Industries, Inc. Bessemer, AL. Position - Materials Mgr. 1995 - 1997
Materials Manager for $200MM fully integrated Rail Car Manufacturing Facility. Responsible for the management of 78 employees
encompassing purchasing (Production / MRO), Master scheduling, and both internal and external transportation. Performed analysis
and model studies to optimize all material and finished product movements that involve the use of 20 forklifts, 12 overhead cranes,
and 2 locomotives over a 137-acre production site. Implemented F-I-F-O stocking programs in conjunction with JIT delivery
schemes. Negotiated contracts for Bulk Steel and specialty item purchases resulting in multi-million dollar savings. I was also
directly involved with the M1003 certification of the Bessemer, Al. Plant
Mid-South Industries, Inc. - Gadsden, AL. Position - Systems Analyst 1989 - 1995
Responsible for purchasing and out-Sourcing of metals, plastics, safety, machinery, capital equipment and bulk chemicals for 70MM
plant. Maintained contracts for all maintenance machine repairs, cylinders, electric motors, and conveyors. Acquired and developed
specifications for out-Sourcing materials used in the production of new machinery. Developed cost estimates for flat and rolled steel.
