modeling technologies to design and edit drawings for engineers and outside vendors. Worked with

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
John Deere Engine Works 2011 – Current
Part-time Manufacturing Engineer
Performed daily task to calculate the wage employees production numbers and help the department improve
process, save time, and money. Ensure all gages are up to date in the control plan and get calibrated at the correct
time.
Prepared and submitted department work orders using SAP for wage employees
Provide and prepared the Personal Protective Equipment for the wage employees in cabinets throughout the
production line for easy access.
Helped with Daily Time Recordings and Continuous Process Improvement for department, completed daily
time recording when supervisor was absence and worked on process improvements to allow the workers to
produce more production to reach higher continuous process improvement percents.
Created initial drafts and made adjustments to existing drafts based on engineering or outside vendor’s
directions using AutoCAD, when making drawing I looked for ways to make process improvements, ways to
cut time, cost, and resources of the item I was asked design.
Ensure all department gages are calibrated on time, by implementing a gage table process where each
department would put their gages in the table and once per shift the gage department would come by to pick
up the gages that were in the table.
Conducted audits within the department such as sera audits for the safety department to ensure the employee
had a safe working environment, 5s audits both in office and on shop floor to make sure the working area was
clean and well picked up, and department audits to help wage employees come up with process improvements
to make their job easier.
Assist supervisor with managing department and employees in a unionized factory.
Work in team environment with engineers and supervisor.
Experience with: GD&T, blue print reading, CMMs, Optical comparator and Basic hand tools (calipers,
micrometers, gauge pins, etc.)
