Fabricating and welding steel structures. Mostly use mig flux core to tack and weld the coal mining equiptment that bucyrus produced. Fit and weldstructual steel plates varied from three eighths to one inch thick.Usually welding a quarter inch weld all the way around parts. Parts varied from 1,000pds up to 13tons. Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or fabricate metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Reading and understanding blueprints and operating various machines. Working on the assembly side, assembling coal mineing frames.
