• As division manager, primary duties focused on daily operations and supervision of 160 employee

sample division & 14 employee distribution and fulfillment division. Full P&L responsibility of both.

• As operations manager, managed all facets of product design, engineering, estimation, customer

priorities and schedules, and meeting with new and established customers to define project scope,

• As plant manager of wood processing and assembly operations, oversaw all production,

maintenance, engineering, purchasing, and shipping personnel. Enforced employee guidelines,

EHS standards, manpower scheduling, set performance metrics, and mentored leadership team to

meet objectives.

• Driver of various initiatives, including: changing assembly operations to a work-cell format,

establishing Kanban (pull) system, consolidating assembly & distribution functions, and work-flow

realignment.

• Managed projects including a complete plant redesign, evaluating and spec’ing equipment, and

installation of a new dust collection system.

1998 - 1999 Manufacturing Engineer Thomas & Betts – Vidalia, GA.

Multi-national manufacturer of a wide variety of electrical components with sales of $2.5 billion.

• Designed custom sheet metal electrical enclosures. This included producing CAD drawings, CNC

programs, and bills of material for production.

• Supported manufacturing by designing fixtures, tooling, and dies, redesigning products, and

changing plant layout.

1994 – 1998 & 1999 - 2000 Product Engineer Falcon Products – Newport, TN.

Manufacturer of furniture for the restaurants and the hospitality market.

• Designed and engineered custom cabinetry and metal components. This included producing CAD

drawings and bills of material for production.

• Created engineering department procedures and policies. This included standardized costing

models, quoting programs, and engineering change requests.

Mexico case goods (wood furniture) facility.
