Designed a new visual style for each site, then created graphical elements such as icons, charts,

menu items and enhanced photographs, while working with the Marketing Dept. and Sales Dept.

to fine-tune the website’s usability as a selling tool for the company.

Site Maintenance: Created additional infographics, such as technical illustrations and charts, and

retouched photographs. Also edited and updated text.

Software Graphics

Created icons using Icon Workshop and Illustrator. Designed user interface screens for Windows

mobile apps, turnkey applications, online medical networking and imaging utilities created by the

company for their clients. These projects were very technical, so close interaction with the

programming team was necessary.

Tradeshow Graphics

Created large format, tradeshow booth banners, pop-up displays and posters. Also created

promotional items such as postcards, software evaluation sleeves and glossy sell sheets.

Coordinated with printer to receive proofs of marketing literature and handouts.

Magazine and Online Advertising

Created static and flash .swf web banners. Created online and print ads for journals, magazines

and online developer sites such as MSDN, Visual Studio, and Code Project.

Site Maintenance: Retouched photographs in vast quantity for woodworking equipment

e-commerce site, using Photoshop and Corel’s Paintshop Pro. Retouching included resizing, color

correction, artifact removal, cropping and masking.

Online Advertising

Created .gif and flash .swf web banners to advertise Ex-Factory on industry sites. Also created

banners for companies that wanted to advertise on site, i.e. a banner “package deal” that was

sold to customers who used the site.

Tradeshow Graphics

Created tradeshow booth banners and posters. Created promotional items including postcards,

tradeshow give-aways, company t-shirts and product sell sheets. Coordinated with printer to

receive proofs and final product.

Magazine Advertising

Created ads for industry magazines such as Modern Woodworking and Popular Woodworking.

E A co - produced several games with DreamWorks, and I was responsible for the

c reation of game assets in seven foreign languages. E ach language was supplied

o n a s preadsheet, a nd t ext w as r ecreated in the specific art style of each game for

Freelance Work

Android and iOS apps:

Created “Number Fiesta”, an educational game, rated 4+, that is currently on the Apple

iTunes Store, B&N Nook, Amazon Kindle and Google Play. Product was built in Multimedia

Fusion Developer, exported & compiled on the Mac in Xcode.

Created “Word Pix”, an educational game, rated 5+, that is currently on B&N Nook,

Amazon Kindle and Google Play.

Simply Language Academy website - www.simplylanguageacademy.com, created website

for foreign language learning center in Fort Mill, SC. Also created business cards and

promotional material.

Tropical Seas – Design of 27 animal and fish characters for child/baby skin care product line

packaging. Also drew logos and promotional graphics. Designed and built product website,
