My name is Robert Steepleton. I am ** years old and am a very innovative and outspoken person. I have
always been very curious as to how things worked and the energy behind it. I can remember being a child
and my curiosity causing my mischievous ways to set out on an adventure into my father’s garage to find
what I could take apart next. There was always such a satisfying feeling to me about figuring out how
things work, or being able to troubleshoot problems with anything mechanical or electrical and with my
own two hands making them work again. I still have the same feelings today it is very much an addiction
of mine. I have several hobbies with loves of creating, my first would have to be wood working. I
consider myself a master carpenter. I have an extensive tool collection from which I have fabricated
cabinetry, children's toys, and furniture. I used to have my own remodeling business where I did kitchens,
bathrooms, and creative deck building. I still have the love of woodworking, it is one of my favorites. I
have been an artist my entire life. I came to love art at age 3. According to my loving mother, I had eye
surgery and to strengthen and exercise the eye, physicians had me trace cartoon characters. From there I
just kept on drawing and became more serious with it. In my junior year of high school, I was offered an
Art Scholarship to the Chicago Art Institute. Art was my second love of creation with my mind and hands.
Music was my third love, I grew up with it and my three brothers were also into it. It was pretty loud and
crazy for my poor mother so what better choice of instrument for me than drums. I played and performed
percussion for 33 years from high school bands, to clubbing and traveling the road, opening for headliners
such as Ronnie Milslap, Ricky Van Shelton and even the late great George Jones. Even though I no longer
perform the love of music will always be with me and was fun but I wanted a career in what I loved
called troubleshooting. To create something or solve a problem with the love of learning new things, that
was for me. I had went to school to become an EMT for the Schererville Fire Dept. I did that for about
seven years. Then, while working for Joslyn Mfg. I had the opportunity to attend welding school in which
I achieved a degree in stick, mig, heli arch, torch and plasma cutting. I was able to carry this trade with
me to move on and learn more. I really enjoyed welding. It brought a lot of thoughts of art and wood
working to the job. After 12 years of using my hands of trade with IU Health, I am now currently working
for the Gary Works, United States Steel Corporation. The job is great but it is my dream and wish to
relocate to Huntington, Indiana, where I can be closer to my fiancé. If you want to contact me my cell
number is 219-***-****.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Robert Steepleton

I have always been outgoing and willing to learn as much as I can, I have learned so much with all the
jobs that I have worked but am always willing to learn more so that I may better myself in whatever field
I may be working in. I am very much a people person and work great with others. My very first job was
raking balls in the batting cages. From there I fell into construction where I learned finishing concrete. I
was hired into the fire dept. and ambulance service. Then, started my own home remodeling business but
which got me on at Joslyn Mfg., where I worked as a laborer and got into welding school. I relocated
from there to Monon Trucking where I became a class A cosmetic welder. I also welded for Galbreath Inc.
I left to do studio work, sight reading music for up and coming country stars. After that, I decided to get
back into health care. I was there for 12 years. They offered me a lot of schooling where I have learned a
great deal. My hobbies are woodworking and art for now.
Please feel free to contact me anytime at your convenience, relocation
is not an issue for me, I am looking for a job in the Northeastern part of the state of Indiana at this time.
Thank you for your time,
Robert Steepleton
