Study of Transdermal Diffusion of Ibuprofen from a Gel Formulation Through Mouse Skin

August 2012 to April 2013

Dissected mouse skin, performed exvivo diffusion and collected the diffusion data

Formulated topical gels (Ibuprofen, Ketoprofen gels) and conducted stability studies on them

Performed invitro (artificial membranes), exvivo (mouse skin) diffusion studies using Franz cell, generated

diffusion models and calculated diffusion parameters for transdermally delivered drugs

Worked on HPLC, UV/Vis spectrophotometer, DSC to analyze the results of diffusion
