WORK EXPERIENCE

TRUMPF Photonics, Cranbury, NJ Aug. 2012 – Present

Optical Coating & Logistics Technician

• Successfully run and perform the maintenance on the Syrus Pro coating system to produce the high power

copper and silicon laser deviation mirrors.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and management to proactively analyze and highlight gaps to minimize

errors and gain process improvement for quality production.

• A technical expert in the execution of end to end process in optical component to ensure each task is

performed in the most accurate and qualitative manner for smooth transition between functions.

• CAR-processing in SAP with further training/involvement in logistics and ordering process, Kanban

implementation, set up and maintenance of bulk material in coating area, assisted in our pre-inventory

project during our yearly audit.

• Effectively perform quality control of incoming and produced parts using state of the art metrology including

interferometers, spectrophotometers and ellipsometers. With accuracy and precision, laser scribe the

silicon and copper mirrors and ensure properly cleaned prior to coating process using Vector Mark and

Elma tools.

• Performed Phase shift and Absorption measurements on production mirrors to ensure the performance of

coated mirrors. Visually inspected coated mirrors for any cosmetic abnormalities such as coating defects

that may be present.

• Provide oversight packaging process to ensure proper handling management in a timely manner. Wet

blasting of parts of the Syrus Pro system and maintaining upkeep of the tool.

Senior Technician

• Produce Tele-Communication Devices such as EML, TEML, and Pump Laser in a team environment and

successfully meet the appropriate deadlines for product delivery.

• Scribe and cleave Wafers into chip-bars.

• Perform the basic Optical Coating step using Denton tool. Also Load & de-load the EML bars into holders

for optical coating.

• Test the chip-bars in a separate environment to ensure they are functioning as intended.

• Further scribe and cleave tested chip-bars into individual chips using Dynatex tool. Trouble-shoot any

issues that may arise in the Dynatex tool during the manufacturing and resolve them in timely manner to

significantly reduce maintenance cost.

• Perform final thorough inspection of each individual chip under the microscope to identify any defects.

Analyze each chip at different magnification levels.

• Handle multi-million dollars of material with great care, which results in increasing revenue for the firm each

year.

Photolithography Technician

• Performed a variety of technical, chemical, and photolithography procedures to develop and control semi-

conductor devices and materials for Apollo.
