DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshooting and overhauling a ll Electric Motor types and sizes

Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspections and services of all plant machinery, equipment and their

associated Switchgear

Completing Plant machinery Inspections and Service forms and job cards

Compiling and Updating plant Electrical equipment and Machinery Asset Registers

Servicing all Portable Electrical equipment that is, Grinders, Blowers and Drilling Machines

Attending to all Plant breakdowns that is Fault finding and rectification and Attending to All Staff

Residence electrical faults

11KV and 400V Distribution local line maintenance, modifications, faultfinding and rectification

Supervising and assigning duties to other Junior Apprentices, Assistants and Students on Attachment

MACHINES: Cranes, Conveyors, Frame saws, Sharpeners, Electric wagons, Lathe and Welding

machines, Drilling machines.
