Pridgeon and Clay, Inc. – Safety & Environmental Manager – August 2011 - June 2013
• Create, execute, train, and enforce all safety and environmental programs throughout all Pridgeon and Clay US facilities
• Maintain ISO 14001 standards and program directives
• Lead the S&E Committee and manage the Accident/Illness/Incident reporting system (8D/Lean Reports)

• Prepare and submit all Federal, State, and local permits and reports for all of Hart & Cooley and Selkirk’s facilities.
Provide support for all Mexico reporting to local EHS representative
• Develop and maintain ISO 14001 equivalent Environmental Management Systems for all facilities
• Develop and maintain OHSAS 18001 equivalent Safety Management Systems for all facilities
• Conduct annual Health, Safety, and Environmental Audits for all facilities, including development of Corrective Action
Reports and subsequent follow-up reports to parent corporation – Tomkins Industries
• Facilitate Tomkins HSE Excellence Award program throughout Hart & Cooley, including:
o Monthly data collection and submission
o Continuous Improvement Goal development, write-up, and submission
o Develop forms and train facility personnel on metric collection and tracking
o Final award submission
• Risk Management / Business Continuity Plan (BCP): Develop and maintain BCP for all facilities
oBuild redundancy plans for infrastructure and processes
• Facility Management: Responsibilities for new Grand Rapids Corporate Headquarters Building:
o Construction Management Completion / Warranty / Resolution Issues
o Corporate Social Responsibility project leader: Can & bottle deposit collection for local food pantry
