Visionary senior executive seeking consulting engagements as Project Manager/Business Analyst
specializing in implementations of CRM and ERP software. Significant enterprise wide experience in
multiple industries.
Project Management/Business Analyst Experience
At Avalon software ran the team the built a full set of Financial Applications (GL,AP,AR,
•
OE/Billing, PR, HR) in a three way partnership with one of the largest Japanese
companies and had it developed offshore in India. The project was to build a full function
cross industry financial applications that combined the requirements both US and
Japanese accounting practices, rules and processes. To data no one was providing
packaged financial software for the Japanese market. I wrote all of the high level and
detail requirements, process flows, high level database design and approved all program
specifications.
At Avalon Software updated the financial reporting applications to use Essbase and
•
Crystal Reports to improve flexibility for the users.
At KPMG managed software selection and implementation of packaged Supply Chain
•
application software for a number of companies. An example was for Taiwan’s largest
semiconductor foundry where we gathered and summarized all of the user requirements
for a Sales and Operations Planning System covering multiple factories and many
customers. We took those requirements and helped them select the software package
they would implement. Then ran the implementation which included significant
modifications.
At Ramco Systems I was responsible for communicating all US requirements for Financial,
•
PR/HRM, Manufacturing and Distribution applications to the development team in India. I
would regularly travel to India to work with the development team to help them understand
and define the requirements for enhancements to the product.
At Ramco Systems created Product Requirement Documents (PRD’s) to localize their
•
Paryroll (PR) and Human Resource Management (HRM) for local US market.
At KPMG ran the project to build all internal Supply Chain consulting products where many
•
of them were built into computer applications. This required development of detail
requirements working with very senior consultants and producing a product that the
consultants used to accelerate the implementation projects.
At Oracle I was the main interface between the Oracle Manufacturing product teams and
•
the manufacturing customers. This was pre release of the Oracle Manufacturing
applications and was part of deciding and documenting the initial product capabilities.
At Avalon software I ran the customer steering committee where I told them were the
•
products where going functionally and gathered/prioritized their new requirements for the
products.
I have implemented over 11 different ERP products in my career. This would include
•
training, analysis, modification and implementation. Have done requirements analysis at
hundreds of companies, while most being manufacturers, some were in other industries
Salesforce.com
As a independent consultant my company Summit Value Group implemented the full
•
SFDC CRM solution for two security software companies. Was the key liaison between the
user community, Salesforce.com and internal IT. For both companies I implemented an
Excel/Crystal Reports based dashboard which allowed for any authorized person to see
their sales pipeline whether they were individual salespeople or managers or executive
who could see the full rollup.
At World Avenue Holding LLC I was a user of Salesforce.com CRM.
•
Oracle e Business Suite
As the first Oracle Applications presales person was part of their original application sales
•
team. Sold to many cross industry firms including manufacturers, distributors, financial
institutions, schools, etc.
Worked with the first Oracle GL external client to help them understand the product
•
capabilities and how they mapped to their requirements.
At Oracle I was the main interface between the Oracle Manufacturing product teams and
•
the manufacturing customers. This was pre release of the Oracle Manufacturing
applications and was part of deciding and documenting the initial product capabilities.
At KPMG I managed the team the put together all selection and implementation products
•
for the Oracle Supply Chain applications.
