Grocery App: Implemented a semester-long project in Ubiquitous computing which involved phidgets
(weight sensors), and Android programming.
Project Management System: Designed and implemented a web-based database application in PHP and
MYSQL as a part of Advanced Database Concepts coursework.
Mining and Visualization of Social Media Data: Developed Python scripts to explore Twitter data based on
Geo-location, hashtags and tweets. Built classifiers to categorize various emotions reflected in the twitter
data, to detect gender based on usernames and visualized the distribution of this data across US.

Intern-I.T., Enterprise Technology MasterBrand Cabinets Inc. May 2013 - Present
Established a formal process to apply windows server patches to more than 500 servers in Test, Development
as well as Production environments, systematically on a regular basis, to protect the servers from virus
attacks and security breaches. Was able to bring about a significant decrease in the count of critical and
security updates needed by these servers.
Developed a Windows PowerShell script to start Windows Updates service on the second Sunday of every
month and apply patches to some critical servers.
Configured Steelhead devices and updated Network support documentation maintaining a repository of all
the devices across all company locations in North America and Canada.
