Summary

My professorial experience is in supervising, managing, and mentoring people in many different realms. I went

from shipboard maintenance, production, Law Enforcement, Investigations, to being the person in charge of

Security for a Construction Battalion in the Navy. After my diverse career I jumped straight into work as a shift

supervisor for a plastic injection molding company. I spent 4 years with the United States Postal Service as a

City Carrier Assistant while I completed my college degree. I am currently unemployed and looking for a new

career.

Deliver and collect mail on foot or by vehicle under varying road and weather conditions in a prescribed area.

Maintains professional and effective public relations with customers and others, requiring a general

familiarity with postal laws, regulations, products and procedures commonly used, and with the geography of

the area.

Carries mail weighing up to 35 pounds in shoulder satchels or other equipment and to load or unload

Responsible for all security and anti-terrorist defense procedures and response for a camp of 300 Navy

Seabees and Army Engineers while deployed in Anbar Province, Iraq.

Supervised a shift of law enforcement personnel.

Advised the Commanding Officer on matters pertaining to good order and discipline in a battalion of 650

personnel

Disaster Preparedness Supervisor

Planned, directed, organized, and exercised control over emergency and disaster preparedness program

administration, financial planning and execution, budget administration, automated systems administration,

and manpower and personnel coordination through subordinate supervisors

Facilitated coordination with local, civic authorities on disaster response operations

Supervised Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, leading recovery operations in three counties with 1,869 square

miles of devastated area and directing personnel in clearing 22 miles of road, opening 21 public buildings,

Directed the movement of 90 personnel, 37 pieces of heavy equipment, and supplies for a Naval Mobile
