PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
RESEARCH ASSISTANT January 2013-present
THOMAS JEFFERSON UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL Philad elphia, PA
Worked in the Pharmacology Department. Project Aim: To target GCC (Guanylyl Cyclase C) for subcellular Immunotoxin Delivery
in Cancer. Team of 15 PhD candidates.
Purified and stained the antibodies extracted from hybridoma. Skilled on Western Blot, ELISA and some knowledge on
qt-PCR.
Concluded that milk worked as better blocking buffer than BSA (bovine serum albumin). MS -7 had better affinity than
MS-20 for human tissue.
October –December 2012
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
DREXEL UNIVERSITY Philadelphia, PA
Worked in the Medical Instrumentation Department under a PhD can didate to detect the antibody concentration on a cell.
Researched papers and critiqued them to find new ways and improve the existing methods to determine the concentration
of different antibodies on a cell.
Ramen Spectroscopy was found to be one of the methods for antibody concentration detection. The different methods that
could be used were Sandwich method, direct method and indirect method. Using Microarray in collaboration with the
sandwich method was thought to be the best to detect the concentratio n.
