Work Description :

SCOPE OF WORK - LABORATORY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

1) Heads of in the planning, designing and implementation of

environmental monitoring work program (water, air, noise and

groundwater sampling/monitoring).

2) Heads in the implementation of ISO 17025 - Laboratory Management

Systems and ISO 14001 - Environmental Management Systems.

3) Assigned as chemist of Oil and Gas exploratory drilling of the

company.

4) Checks regular site internal environmental audits and inspections

and provide technical recommendations regarding environmental

management in geothermal operations to fully comply with its

Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) conditions and other

environmental laws and regulations.

5) Ensure timely technical compliance reports to Department of

Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and other regulating agencies

and handles environmental permitting requirements of the company

including Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) and Environmental

Impact Assessment Studies

6) Act as Liaison Officer to the Authorities, Media, Local Government

Units on Pollution and Safety related cases and orientation on

Geothermal Technology and operations.

7) Monitors oil spill and H2S in the drill area.

SCOPE OF WORK - SAFETY COORDINATOR

1) Heads the Project Safety and Health Committee (PROSHCOM).

a. Power Plant Building Construction/Operation (Equivalent to

10-Storey Building - 198.5 Megawatts).

b. Steam Pipeline Construction/Operation (48-inch diameter Pipes/50

kilometers long).

c. Steam Separator Vessel Installation and Operation (16 Vessels @ 30

cu. m. per vessel).

e. Monitors water and air toxicity levels (Water Quality Parameters/

Heavy metals/ H2S and Noise).

e. Geothermal Well Pads/sites preparations ( 1.5 hectares area) and

temporary facilities construction.

f. Batching Plant operation.

g. Geothermal Well Drilling and acidizing jobs.

h. Hydrogen Sulfide gas monitoring and Noise Level measurements.

i. Inspection and control of chemical and fire hazards at the

warehouse, laboratory and field operations.

2) Ensure proper waste disposal (sludge, laboratory wastes and

contaminated soil) generated by the Power Plant operations including

drilling wastes and spent chemicals.

3) Supervise transport of chemicals and acids used for geothermal

well drilling and acidizing jobs.

4) Heads in the implementation of OSHA 18001 (Occupational

Safety and Health).

5) Pollution Control of Geothermal Well Discharges, Air and Water

Quality Monitoring (Air:H2S/Noise; Water: Physical and Chemical

properties). Baseline Data Gathering of Newly Opened Projects,

Coordinate with Project Management to Ensure Environmental Compliance.

Member: Safety Committee.

6) Monitor H2S/LEL/UEL/Noise in the Drill Site and living quarters of

the employees. In-Charge of the Drilling and Domestic Waste

Management. Comply all permit requirements of the drilling activity.

Head of the Safety and Health Committee.

7) Air and Water Pollution Monitoring, Dust Pollution

Control/Abatement, Coal Dust Impact Monitoring: effects on the

Neighboring Industries.

8) Pollution Control Studies, Rice Toxicity Experiment, Air and Water

Quality Monitoring, Socio-Economic Studies, Environmental Survey of

Newly Opened Projects.
