2 Project Objective & Description

GM is a worlds best motor vehicles company that offers

diverse products and services. OnStar Corporation is a subsidiary of

General Motors that provides subscription-based communications, in-

vehicle security, hands free calling, turn-by-turn navigation, and remote

diagnostics systems throughout the United States, Canada and China. The

OnStar service allows users to contact OnStar call centers during an

emergency. In the event of a collision, detected by airbag deployment or

other sensors, Advanced Automatic Collision Notification features can

automatically send information about the vehicle's condition and GPS

location to OnStar call centers.

Project Objective & Description

GT (Ground Truth) is a cross-functional initiative that was

launched to create Google-proprietary navigable map data. The objective is

to use the licensed data to build in-house maps for 60 countries within a

stipulated time period by scaling up operations immensely, thereby saving

millions of dollars for Google as a whole. This project has been

implemented on USA, UK, Europe, France, Germany, Mexico, Canada etc.

Role and Responsibilities

. Participated in walkthroughs and reviewed the business requirements

documents and followed with the Business Analysts and worked towards

the resolution of the specification issues.

. Preparing Test Cases for different process and executing the same.
