• Worked as a member of a small crew that had to remove fixtures from a high school locker

room.

• After fixtures were removed, new water and waste piping was installed.

service rodding large kitchen and waste lines. Used Ridgid power rodding equipment as well

as a sewer camera to inspect and clean waste and kitchen lines

• Worked in close association to both the warranty and part department to ensure that billing

was accurate and no extra charges were made. Recorded all warranty service work into a

spreadsheet prepared by the warranty department to make sure all payments were made and

information was accurate

• When it was needed, I also served as a parts delivery person. I would deliver parts to our

technicians in the field if they did not have the needed items in their truck. This would also

often involve driving a 16 foot flat bed for larger repairs. Learned to navigate the Chicagoland

area as well as parts of Indiana and Wisconsin.

coalition of the Education to Careers program and the AYES (Automotive Youth Education

System). During my senior year of high school, half of my day was spent working in a Toyota

dealership’s service department under the supervision of a mentor Technician. Also took what

I learned at the dealership back to the classroom and was considered a class leader in the

automotive program that the school continues to provide.
