Solutions Analyst/Trainer

Worked with various clients, such as MoneyGram Int'l, Cox

Communications, and Delta Airlines, to implement or upgrade the HP-PPM

tool. Performed full requirements studies, created the design

documentation, managed the technical implementation of the

customizations defined during requirements, managed the system and UAT,

designed all custom training manuals for all of the various courses,

and then performed the "Train the Trainers" training. Managed the

environments, and the "go-live" implementation. Customer satisfaction

was very high, and all expectations were met or exceeded.

HP-PPM Modules implemented were: Time Management; Proposal Management;

09/11 - 10/11 Hawaiian Electric Company (PM Solutions) -PMO Consultant

Performed a Project Management Maturity assessment for the Hawaiian

Electric Company. Conducted interviews with all levels of personnel

from the president of the company to the project manager practitioners.

Developed and executed an online survey, using a web survey tool, and

extracted all of the relevant metrics. Co-authored the final report,

giving the full assessment from all of the data generated, and

delivered to all levels within the company. Also developed a gap

analysis report of what would be needed to move the corporation to a

level 3 maturity, and mapped out the recommended process and

methodology changes.

01/10 - 08/11 Morgan Stanley -Business Analyst/Project Manager

Member of the HP-PPM implementation and support team for 8 business

groups, and 10,000+ users.

Worked with assigned business groups to determine and document new

requirements, converted those requirements into design and functional

were completed in time to meet regularly scheduled deployments.

Custom designed and implemented a PMO office for the IT department.,

4/06 - 3/07 Iron Mountain - Snr. Project Manager

Managed the first fully outsourced offshore development program (multi-

project), establishing communications, escalation, reporting, and

governance processes. Created Sharepoint-based databases and templates

to facilitate the execution.

Managed the first large program attempted by the company, comprised of

7 projects, new technologies (SOA and ESB), and a budget of over $6mm.

Program was split between 2 development locations (the 2 largest

projects in PA and the other 5 projects in MA). One location utilized

standard waterfall methodology and PMI process through earned value

reporting, while the other used Agile methodology, with very little

process or metrics. Worked with both location project managers to

define a metrics gathering and reporting process that enabled

conforming reporting to the Steering Committee, while still supporting

the 2 different methodologies.

Defined and established a program management governance methodology,

with associated metrics and report templates. Established a program

homepage within the company SharePoint environment, and authored

databases there for Issues Management, Risk Management, and Scope

Change Management.

Analyzed existing Tier III production support process, which cut across

multiple departments in the company. Redesigned the process to be more

efficient and to enable a better prioritization of all issues, using a

qualitative analysis tool I designed, to categorize each issue

regardless of its source.

Managed the implementation of a large, enterprise Content Management

system (Imaging, workflow and Document Management), integrating it

across 3 separate 3rd party core business applications.

Managed many projects for the selection and implementation of 3rd party

5/03 -7/05 Popular Financial Holdings, Marlton, NJ - Project Manager

Managed the implementation of Mercury IT Governance S/W (now HP-PPM)

and the associated conformance of the IT department to a robust CMM

Level III series of governance processes.

Member of the corporate Governance council, COBIT subcommittee,

developing and implementing processes to ensure an environment of

structured governance and auditable conformity throughout the IT and

Business Development groups.

Managed the creation of an ODS and Data Warehouse combining all legacy

data with ongoing new-system data. Once the DW was established,

utilized BRIO to develop all subsequent financial management reports

generation from it.

Managed the conversion of historical data from legacy mortgage and loan

origination and management system to the new 3rd party replacement.

Managed the conversion of 150 branch offices across the entire US from

a 3270 mainframe environment to a multi-tiered client/server Wintel

environment. This effort included the buildout of a new 70-server fiber-

core data center with full redundancy and SAN storage, and creation of

a WAN connecting all of the branches to the data center. Managed 7

different vendor companies in the field to create a LAN in each branch

office, install T1, ISDN and analog phone lines, routers and switches,

and new PCs for each user. Also managed the installation of DS3 lines

into the data center, and frame relay connections to external service

vendors..

4/01 - JP Morgan Chase Private Bank - Member of the Program Management Office

9/02 (PMO) on the 2 year Technology Integration portion of the merger of

JPMorgan and Chase Manhattan Private Banks. Responsible for collecting and

tracking all technology integration schedules and budgets within these

sectors. Annual budget managed exceeded $140 million. Utilized MS Project

for schedule tracking, MS Excel for budgets, and MS Powerpoint for

presentation of results to senior management.

4/00 - LabMorgan - Project Management team member during development of a B2B

2/01 browser-based ecommerce application. The application performed Electronic

Bill Presentation and Payment, with dispute resolution, cash management,

AR/P interface, etc. Spent time in Bangalore, India to assist in

overseeing the offshore product development there. Upon return from India,

managed daily ongoing compliance communications. Team manager for all

Acceptance Testing, Bug Reporting and Performance testing.

1/00 - JP Morgan Private Bank - Project manager of Software Development to

2/00 produce a web-based intranet application for the online creation and

processing of requests for hiring consultants within the bank. Used Lotus

Notes and Domino as the platform.

7/99 - JP Morgan Private Bank PMO- Team member in the establishment and

1/00 staffing of the Y2K Global Command Center, the global system health check

process, and contingency planning. Assigned to the Global Command Center

during the Millennium rollover. Developed globally distributed Microsoft

Access and Lotus Notes databases, Excel workbooks, and report generation

6/98 - Chase Manhattan - Middle Markets - Member of project team performing the

standard. Coordinated the 4 integrating vendors' products (BPR Modeler,

desktop GUI, workflow engine, Imaging). Architected an integrated workflow

design within the common bank based on WfMC standards. Utilized MS Excel

to collect and summarize all data for the group, and MS Powerpoint to

present final architecture proposal to client. Also re-architected the

existing imaging system to be more extensible, and compatible with the

other applications.

3/97 - JP Morgan Private Bank - Performed a requirements analysis for an

9/97 Imaging/COLD system, then wrote the technical RFP and implementation plan

for distribution to potential vendors. Selected the RFP recipients,

analyzed the resultant proposals, downselected to the most viable, then

performed an in-depth analysis on winners. Performed a further analysis on

the downselected vendors' current development projects and prepared

presentation of results for senior management.

6/96 - Freddie Mac - Project Manager and technical lead for a workflow and

8/96 imaging project. Performed the analysis and design of the solution as well

as managing the C++ based development. Teamed with the customer to

successfully integrate the solution with a parallel effort by the

customer's own staff.
