• Responsible for the final oversight of the production of Motor Graders prior to leaving the factory
before being shipped out to our customers/dealers.
• Supervised numerous employees (quality inspectors) covering all three shifts, being on call for
questions and etc. 24/7 in case of a final approval, question, or anything that may arise during my
off-shift.
• Verified all Motor Graders were built 100% to blueprint, not allowing for missing parts or being
assembled incorrectly, or a machine that may be leaking or not operating correctly.
• Verified Motor Graders passed cosmetically (paint, decals, and etc.) only allowing a unit to be
released from the factory meeting 100% of all that was mentioned previously, or I delayed the
release of a unit until it was properly corrected to meet all specifications 100%. By doing so, I
reduced millions of dollars in warranty costs, providing our customer with a product that met or
exceeded their expectations.
• Traveled to numerous dealerships, customers, suppliers, and Caterpillar plants showing them our
process, for which numerous other Caterpillar plants copied in their process.
• Developed numerous guidelines, specifications, and processes while working with Caterpillar
Engineering, Dealerships, Suppliers, and our Customers prior to my job being relocated /
eliminated and moved to North Little Rock Arkansas.
While at Caterpillar Inc. I completed training, and used the following processes listed:
1. Six Sigma Green Belt in DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analysis, Improve, and Control)
2. FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
3. PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)

Assembly Manufacturing Processor September 2000 – September 2005
• Responsible for writing assembly instructions, blue print reading / verification of parts,
researching and providing special tooling for the hourly assembly personnel.
Assembler / Test Specialist July 1994 – September 2000
• Trained in assembly of all aspects of Motor Graders, advanced to a Test Specialist within 6
months of learning the entire assembly of Motor Graders which entailed running the final product
after assembly (running, troubleshooting, adjusting all pressures to be within specifications) as an
hourly union employee.

numerous Airmen in the area prior to my Honorable Discharge, and returning to Illinois with my
family.
