Electronic Technician III
As an Electronic Technician III, maintained and modified chamber
instrumentation, controls and sensors, performed calibration,
current data acquisition system, gate system, and the programming of
our phone system. Maintain calibration records of chamber
controllers, temperature, humidity, pressure sensors and lightning
protection. Assisting lead engineer in the design and installation
of a data acquisition system using National Instruments Lab-View to
control and monitor the climatic test chambers in several remote
test facilities. Assisted in the design of the Tactical Test
Facility chambers to provide extreme temperature environments during
missile functional testing the camera system and the installation of
the Envirotronics temperature and humidity controllers. Also
installing with the new Multi Chamber Facility that will support
future vehicle testing.

As an Electronic Technician in maintenance, I maintain, calibrate,
repair and install electronic and instrumentation devices to support
the climatic, nondestructive and missile modification test
functions. Primary responsibility includes climatic test chamber
instrumentation (sensors, dataloggers, circle charts) and chamber
control to provide reliable and accurate data. Perform test setup,
test item instrumentation and test conduct of test items in remote
locations utilizing mobile temperature conditioning units. Support
RTC test customers in the collecting of real-world field data on
tactical and prototype systems in various CONUS locations.
Troubleshoot and maintain x-ray systems and film processors.
Additional job duties include support to the project engineer for
design specification, facility planning and purchase for a new large
Salt Fog Chamber, Temperature-Humidity-Altitude Chamber and the
THAAD Missile/Launcher Test Facility. Certified to test continuity
of conductive floor and lightning protection grounding systems.

Engineering/Instrumentation Technician
As an Engineering/Instrumentation Technician in maintenance, I
maintained repaired and installed electronic and instrumentation
devices to support the climatic, nondestructive and missile
modification test functions.
Engineering Technician Level 1
As an Environmental Chamber Test Operator, I performed tasks to
include test set-up, chamber programming & control and tear down of
climatic tests for the Climatic Test Branch, Redstone Technical Test
Center (RTTC). Operated temperature, humidity, altitude chambers by
programming various setpoint programmer/ controllers and dataloggers
to monitor and record test data and entered test notes into the
Ground Truth Database. Instrumented test items with thermocouples to
monitor temperature stabilization.
