I have performed biological science work or support work in various scientific

Additional Information:

I am was this past years President of Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society. My duties

include setting up and organizing meetings, delegating tasks, and being the liaison between the

organization and the faculty. I have proven my leadership capabilities in various academic and

social endeavors. The courses that I have been enrolled in have been rigorous and I have

struggled in a few of them, which is reflected in my transcripts, but nevertheless I have been able

to overcome any academic challenges I have faced over the years and maintain 3.27 GPA. I am

an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where I serve as the head of several vital

committees for my collegiate chapter while maintaining higher than a 3.0 grade point average to

remain an active member. For the past three years, I have worked as an Orientation Leader,

where it has been my job to help incoming freshmen adjust to life at the university. Among all

the leadership roles I pursue on campus, I have always been deeply involved in the City of

Tuskegee community through my volunteer efforts at local retirement homes and t I am

proficient in using Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel. In addition to this, I have experience

with con focal microscopes and the Floview software as well as conducting sequence alignments.
