I managed the importing of ready to sell materials from China, including

Credit Manager & Cost Accountant (2000 to 2002)
Responsible for the credit administration, credit analysis of financial
information and all accounts receivable functions for the Paper Packaging
Division of the Bemis Company.
* Review and analyze financial statements to determine risk involved in
extension of credit to customers including GSA and USDA.
* Establish terms of sale, including international letters of credit and
documentation.
* Ensure all credit lines are reviewed and have proper authorization
annually.
* Management of day's sales outstanding and collection of delinquencies.
* Develop cost accounting policy and procedures including plant floor

Bemis Highlights:
* Risk Management: Reduced Bad Debt write offs from $1.2 million in 2000
to $78k in 2001. Year to date 2005, bad debt experience is zero.
* Credit Management: Reduced delinquency from 12% greater than 90 days
past due to .005%.
* Established the Credit Policy and Procedure for the company and
implemented a credit scoring guide for the division.
* After taking on the purchasing role in addition to Credit Manager,
reduced material costs by 16% in the first year. Year to date 2005
savings were 26% ahead of plan.
* Leveraged a multi-company purchase and sell arrangement between Bemis and
a major supplier which allowed us to sell more products to them and in
turn buy at more favorable prices.
* Negotiated a three party international agreement between Bemis, a Swedish
supplier, and a Spanish multi-wall competitor allowing us to import bags
into the U.S.
* Developed the structure and growth of the Bemis Minority Business
Enterprise, which extends opportunities to minority and women owned
businesses to bid and compete for business.
