. Developed efficient syntheses of 2-diazo-1,3-diketones with bulky and

heteroaromatic substituents. Established conformational composition of the

diazodiketones for mechanistic study of their Wolff rearrangement and

other transformations

. Synthesized 1,3-cycloadducts, stable molecular complexes, radical-ion

salts, and other products of aromatic N-oxides with electron deficient

alkenes. Developed synthetic methods using molecular complexes. Applied
