Inside Sales Alliance Transport Services 2012-2013
I am responsible for day to day sales of new small and corporate accounts in freight forwarding, drayage and ocean
freight. I negotiate carrier pricing, hire and develop calling staff. I have built an account pool of six hundred, and
accounts that have created profits of
$120,000 during my first year.
Sales Manager Limco Logistics 2010-. 2012
I created the marketing and training syllabus for all new business development, gaining enough profit to triple the size
of the sales department, based on a volume increase of $2,500,000. I assisted in the office management of the
operations department staff. I created a national vehicle loading network in order to develop a completely new volume
and profit center.
National Sales/Call Center Manager: Scent of Nature 2006-2010
I managed a phone sales department containing seven sales representatives, with 1200 active and 32000 prospective
accounts. I had full responsibility for the creation of all sales and marketing programs that increased customer contact
as well as actual sales volume. I supervised the call center activity and set goals for calls and phone time. Top
management requested I develop a mass merchant program for food, drug, variety and dollar store chains, which
resulted in $2,000,000 in new and profitable business.
Sales/Marketing Manager: Royal Toothbrush 1998-2005
I was responsible for the creation of a mass merchant field sales force. and the creation of programs conducive to each
major retailers class of trade, this included packaging and marketing of each individual product. Business followed
with upward volume results: $2.5 million year one, $3.5 million year two, $5 million year 3, $6.5 million year 4, over
$10 million remaining years. We purchased or manufactured product in both India and China, my duties included
being responsible for logistics from overseas manufacturer to my customer’s shelves.
National, Sales Manager: Diamond Dust 1990-1998
I was responsible for the sales and management of a sales force that included: seven brokerage organizations,
fourteen independent representatives and five company owned sales representatives. Selected appropriate trade shows
to market product (16 yearly), and sold to most of the large theme parks throughout the United States. Unfortunately
because of divorce within ownership of the company the business was dissolved.
