• spearheaded the project to switch a portion of our business to a curb-side recyclable
material, PET
Production Manager - June 2003 to July 2007
• developed computerized production reporting method for shift supervisors that
enabled us to track efficiencies and downtime by individual line, all lines, by shift,
day, month, and year
• spearheaded the project to switch a portion of our business from a fossil fuel-based
resin, polystyrene, to a bio-based (corn) resin, PLA
Materials Manager -February 14, 2000 to June 2003
• developed and implemented MRP system
• immediately set about creating improved long-range and daily schedules in the plant
• improved shipping on-time delivery by completely revamping shipping department
from personnel to carriers used
