Designed a top sealing arrangement required by a dynamic classifier to prevent the leakage of coal dust and

Design and Optimization of a Single Stage Helical Gearbox

Implemented a multidisciplinary approach to optimize the weight of a single stage helical gearbox consisting
of an output shaft, an input shaft, a gear and a pinion using the exterior penalty function method (Matlab)

Design of an Automated Guided Vehicle with Fork Lift

Fabricated a model automated guided vehicle capable of following the user defined path by using sensors. It
has been equipped to handle materials and transfer the given material to desired locations. Group technology
of cells of the workshop and cluster analysis was also performed.
Design and Fabrication of a Motorized Screw Jack for a Four-Wheeler
December 2010 to May 2011

Designed a screw jack which is used to lift objects using machine design principles and integrated it with an
electric motor. The screw jack is easily portable and the electricity needed for the operation can be obtained
from the battery of the vehicle, thereby increasing the mechanical advantage.
Finite Element Analysis of Heat Transfer through Complex Structures
August 2012 to Present

Using the generalized trapezoidal rule algorithm, developed an FEM code in MATLAB to solve for the
temperature distribution and the error indicator through a complex structure. Error reduction methods were
then performed considering linear elements.
