Avanti Wind Systems, Inc. is an International manufacturer of man lifts

and tower internals to the wind turbine industry. Avanti also provides

ladders, safety climbing equipment and training. Our largest customers are

Siemens, Gamesa, Vestas, GE, Sany, and Clipper Wind Power.

Avanti Director of Tower Internals- China and USA August 2012 to

Present

Started up the second site of tower internal manufacturing in the USA. I

negotiated and purchased all of the manufacturing machines for the USA

Operations. I oversee all tower internal activities from a corporate

level for the USA and China. I make sure that all programs are being

completed per the customer specification. Work on reducing costs with our

supplier base and researching new suppliers. Negotiate prices and payment

terms for all supplier contracts for parts and raw material.

Avanti General Manager- Operations- Tianjin, China August 2011 to

August 2012

Started up the first Avanti Manufacturing Site in Tianjin, China (8400

Sq. M). This business unit will be in charge of making all aluminum and

steel tower internals for USA, Asia and European markets. This company was

built from the ground up including negotiating and purchasing all

machines. Hired all production staff (45 total). Avanti will perform

the following manufacturing processes at the Tianjin facility; Shearing,

Rolling, Sawing, Welding, CNC bending, laser cutting, grinding and kitting

for the customers.

Achievements:

. In the 2nd month of shipping product made 20% Profit

. Plant up and running production in 4 months

TecStar Manufacturing- Quality Manager August 2005-

September 2009

TecStar Manufacturing is a plastic injection molder that supplies the

following industries; cell phone, appliance, computer, automotive, and

commercial. TecStar is a ISO/QS-9000 & TS-16949 certified company.

Customers include Motorola, Honeywell, Cooper Rubber, H.P., Rubbermaid,

Sharpie, Blackhawk, Nextel, and Blackberry (RIM).

I currently oversee all quality operations within TecStar Mfg. My main

function is to communicate with customers and internal company quality

issues and implement quality programs to continuously improve the quality

department. I currently supervise 15 people at TecStar Mfg. and they

range from Quality Inspector to Quality Engineers. I monitor the Cost of

Quality, Return Authorizations, internal rejects, sorting (in house and

out). I monitor the corrective action system to ensure accuracy and

validity.

. Creation and Implementation of the Trainer Program to drive cost of

inspection down to the lowest possible level. Saved $13,000 in the 1st

Quarter in regards to internal scrap.

. Creation and Implementation of the Training Program for the Operators.

HUF N.A.- Quality Manager September 2003 to August

2005

Huf N.A. is a plastic injection molder and a zinc die caster that is a tier

1 and 2 supplier to the Automotive Industry. Huf NA is a QS 9000 and ISO

14001 certified company. Customers include Mercedes, BMW, VW, Ford, and

GM. Specialties are door lock systems and exterior door handles.

In charge of all quality operations within Huf N.A. Wisconsin. My main

function was to communicate with customers and inter-company quality issues

and implement quality programs to continuously improve the quality

department. I supervised 10 people at Huf N.A. and they range from

Quality Supervisors, Quality Auditors, Quality Technicians to Quality

Engineers. I coordinated all of the PPAP's to ensure that they are on-

time to the customer. I monitor closely the Cost of Quality, Return

Authorizations, internal rejects, sorting (in house and out). I lead on

Process Sign Off's, Run at Rates, and Customer Audit of Quality Systems

with customers. I supported the Engineering Department with part

dimensional results so they can conduct tool changes that are directed by

the customer. I worked closely with Ford STA, GM, BMW and Mercedes Benz

(MBUSI).

. Implementation of 5S Program saving the company $20,000 to $30,000 a

year.

. Lead Quality Department through 5 different Product Launches (From

Feasibility to 90 day Safety Launch Review)

. Supplier Development improving Quality and Delivery by 20%
