WORK EXPERIENCE
Synthetic Computer Wargaming Chief / EKMS Manager
United States Marine Corps - San Diego, CA - April 2010 to Present
• Ensuring the Joint Expeditionary Warfighting Lab (JEWL) was always fully operational and organized in the
support and completion of 90 war gaming events/classes, and successful training of over 3000 military and
civilian personnel. Classes and events that I supported for were for FST, Phibron, R2P2, MEU, MEB and MEF
level exercises.
• Managed the local Secret Domain and Active directory administrations for over 600 user accounts and
mailboxes, 200 classified computers in support of our modeling and simulation gaming systems. Tasks
included are account creation and OU management of domain and group policies.
• Administered the local LAN and managed over 20 Cisco classified and unclassified switches and routers
that supported the commands modeling and simulation Center for platforms such as ENWGS, TBMCS, JSAF
and GCCS systems. I also supported the network services for our C4I systems such as GCCS-M, Centrix,
AFATDS, EMT, JADOCS, NFCS, TMBCS, C2PC, JTT and VTC.
• Managed and administered the JEWL game floor Simulated Communication system which allowed the use of
digital party lines for simulated real time events. I led a 4 man team for a refresh of the Clear Com systems that
is utilized for our simulated comm for students. I Surveyed the JEWL, designed new architectural layout and
topology for game floor and for 10 classrooms for proper number of users and led the team on proper cable
and gear install as well as coordinated meetings and vendor visits from their engineer department, saving
command $60,000 in hardware and installation costs.
• I led the command IT team in a tech refresh project that included the creation of a new topology design for
our local LAN, assessed building layout for new cat5e cable refresh, removed and installed over 40,000ft of
new cat5e cable. I also coordinated with vendors for best cost effective products to use for refresh project. As
a result I led the team to save our command over $50,000 in contracted labor and design costs.
• Serves as VTC Coordinator for my command EWTGPAC, classified and unclassified VTCs. Works
independently in providing administrative and technical support in connection with VTC operations, including
responsibility to plan, advise on schedule, coordinate, promote and conduct VTC conferences. I troubleshoot
any loss of audio and/or video transmission/reception capabilities and audiovisual equipment malfunctions
within the facility. I also coordinate corrective actions with network, maintenance, other VTC specialists and
users to restore satisfactory conduct of the conferences
• Appointed as the commands Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) Manager, where I manage over 30
items to include KG-75's, KG-175's, KIV-7's field filling devices such as SKL's. I also ensured that cryptographic
fills are administered to each element for proper deployment and use.
• Oversaw and managed the facility responsible for security and dissemination of sensitive compartmented
information, receiving, recording and the distribution of sensitive communications system - efforts led to zero
loss in over a 2 1/2 year period.
• I am appointed as the division Security Manager and using Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) for
verification of clearances and site access. Performed indoctrinations, annual re-indoctrinations and debriefs
for visitors and students aboard the command. I Oversaw access control and personnel security, building
access key control and security badge issuance for the command and also supervised our local surveillance
equipment and IDS systems to ensured perimeter security.
• Supervised and implemented proper communication security (COMSEC) procedures for over 700 items
keeping all classified and unclassified data networks within the JEWL in accordance with DoDD 8500.01E.
NMCI Helpdesk Manager

•Provided Tier 2 and 3 technical support on a day-to-day remote operation assisting clients on the Navy
and Marine Corps Intranet. Maintain current and highest level of technical skill in the field of expertise while
supporting over 300 NMCI end-users. Interacts with Network Operation Centers and local Base Operation to
restore services and identify to correct core problems.
• Supported NMCI ordering and build out processes in NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) to obtain and implement
new equipment, software, and services for customers. Process move-add-change requests in NET and

external hard drives, and other peripherals; support escalation of NMCI issues.

VoIP / LAN Administrator
United States Marine Corps - Camp Pendleton, CA - April 2008 to December 2009
•Trained over 150 Marines and government employees of all ranks in the fundamentals and advanced
techniques of installing, operating and supervising data networking equipment.
• Conduct all local network supervision, maintenance, and upgrades for over 250 classified and unclassifed
Cisco Switches.
• Supervised the Installation, Operation, and Restoration of both secure, and nonsecure, data services for
more than 10,000 supported users.
• I was assigned second in command for a 10 man Comuunications Military Training Team in order to provide
provide C4 support to Forward Operating Bases throughout the Iraq.
• Formulated and executed certification and accreditation test plans and conducted other certification activities
as per federal government policy and guidelines.
• Led and supervised the implementation, operation, maintenance and administration of more than 16 Core and
Distribution layer ciso switches providing primary LAN/WAN services to more than 5000 users and secondary
services to all of Camp Fallujah as well as other bases spread throughout Iraq.
• Led a team of 15 Marines in the planning and implementation of a Continuity of Operations and Disaster
Recovery Plan for the organization. Consisting of moving the entire Command element 20 miles with a down
time of less than 36 hours.
• Developed, participated in, and successfully completed two complex and time-sensitive authorized service
interruptions aboard Camp Fallujah that resulted in a upgrade of inefficientredundant power supplies, a
thorough clean-up of hazardously laid network cable, and an overall increase in service reliability for end users.
• Managed and trained over 40 Marines in Cisco Call Manager and Call Manager Express suites.
• Designed and impliment VoIP LAN designs and equipment; to include three Cisco Call Manager suites and
150 Cisco VoIP phones.
Platoon Sergeant / Help Desk Manager
