• Managed a budget of $50M and 13M kgs of product processed annually. Accountable for product yield, labour
efficiency and overhead expenses. Saved $1.2M annually by efficiency improvement.
• Effectively managed production, maintenance, shipping, procurement and QA department with a focus on effective
work order planning, process flow improvement and inventory control. Saved $80K annually by managing inventories.
• Fostered a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as
energy minimization. Ensured compliance to all OHS and environmental regulatory and corporate standards.
Reduced workplace injuries by 42%.
• Ensured effective application of QA programs and processes to meet required product quality. Played a key role in
getting the plant BRC A-certification and reduced customer complaint by 68%.

• Controlled departmental operating costs by effective use of Six Sigma and Downtime Analysis. Saved $225K annually
on the roll line and $320K annually on the bread line.
• Ensured all product orders are produced on time with no shortfall in quality or quantity. Increased fill rate to 99.6%.
• Used six sigma DMAIC tool and achieved a labour savings of $150K annually.
• Conducted regular meetings with all supervisors and plant employees (120 employees) to embrace the importance of
Food Safety as well as Health and Safety. Exceeded external audit scoring for quality stats.
• Selected to lead western Canada for implementation of SAP. Successfully implemented SAP at all work stations
including designing reports and helping and guiding all employees through the change management.
• Fostered and maintained a positive labour relations environment by ensuring that all employees are treated with
respect, grievances are dealt with in a timely manner, and employees are communicated with in an open manner.
• Monitored production inputs and outputs to minimize product loss. Designed, implemented and monitored KPI by shift
