Much of my experience was derived using Tremble and Ashteck GPS. Tasks ranged from
boundary work, topographic, setting property corners and monuments for recording, ILC’s,
etc. Performed legal research at county courthouses throughout Colorado. Research was
targeted at land survey plats, monument records, original Bureau of Land Management Field
notes, tax maps, Deeds, & Right of Way information. This information was used to establish
property boundary and ownership lines as required for professional surveys.

Performed various litigation duties as the only paralegal for 11 attorneys. Trial preparation was
based on the organization of documents produced by the client or the opposing counsel ensuring
all rules of disclosure have been met. Bates stamped and organized exhibits and all court
documents pertinent to the trial into indexed notebooks. Drafted Summons for county, state and
Federal cases following appropriate court rules for service of process. Once I received a
transcribed copy of a deposition, I used summation blaze to brief and define certain aspects of
the deposition to help the attorney get a grasp on what was ascertained in the questions. I
handled corporate filings such as the Employer Identification Numbers, IRS documents, name
registration and biennial reports. Also I had heavy contact with Secretary of State in regards to

Main responsibility lied in drafting criminal charges on personnel who violated the Uniform
Code of Military Justice, caseload of around 20 per week. Also assisted with investigations and
transcriptions of courts-martial. Typical office duties included researching service members
files, faxing, organizing documents, typing documents, filing, maintaining law library, cases and
copying.
Volunteer
Prior member of the Chadron Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Medical technician. My
experience included fighting structural and grass fires, and over 200 rescue calls. This was an eye
opening experience and taught me how to remain calm in chaotic situations.
