Summary
To build a career after college requires diligence and perseverance on the part of the
graduate. Traction can be hard to come by, but I think my consistancy is working to my benefit. Working in the
biotechnology sphere, I'm making connections and learning about cGMPs, SOPs, and all the parts that go into
creating a quality medical product.
My education was directed by the enjoyment I found in laboratory sciences. Bacterial plate streaking,
mammalian cell cultures, as well as molecular diagnostics not only require a specific kind of knowledge, but
also ability. Understanding how these diagnostic tools work is just part of being able to complete the technical
task of creating isolates, for example. I find the challenge enjoyable and look forward to working with pleasant
individuals towards a common goal.
I'm still prime for learning new material and adjusting to procedure. I’m bright, a fast learner, and show
initiative in learning new tasks that may not be on the original training schedule. My ability to recognize
patterns also serves me well.
Specialties: Bacteria plate streaking, isolation and identification, cell culture, aseptic techniques, customer
