Experience and Curriculum Projects:
Analogics Tech India Ltd. Hyderabad, AP, India. 2010-2011
1. Developed and tested a rugged
hand held terminal with a built in
printer, for meter reading
applications.
2. Developed a compact ARM9 based
hand held gamma ray spectrometer.
The spectrometer detects various
radioactive materials (Ground
Survey), indicates the type of
material, and the dosage level.
UNCC, Charlotte, NC. 2011-2013
1. Dynamic Brightness Control and VLC System using High Power LEDs - Implemented
an optical communication system using LED (Visible Light communication) along with
LED dimming control.
2. Audio Recording and Playback on RENESAS RX62N - Used a Renesas RX62N board to
record audio inputs from the onboard microphone and play them back based on user
selection.
3. Emergency Evacuation System with Wireless Sensors - Implemented a building fire
detection and evacuation system using micaz motes that detect the fire and safely direct the
building occupants away from the fire and to the closest exit.
4. 16-bit RISC Processor - Designed, implemented and tested a pipelined 16 bit RISC
processor in VHDL using Mentor Graphics Modelsim.
5. Booting Linux on Xilinx FPGA board - Created the Hardware, Device Tree Structure,
Root File System and Cross-Compiled Linux. Combined all into an ace file and flashed into
the FPGA board.
6. Performance comparison of Real Time Linux Schedulers.
JNTU, Hyderabad, AP, INDIA. 2009
7. Mesh Networking of Low Power Radio Model - Implemented a network of LPR modems
for automatic meter reading (Electricity/Water meters etc.).
