In charge of Medical Physics of two centers in D.R.: Santo Domingo and Santiago with
a combined volume of 80 new patients per month
Have been responsible for setting up the physical aspects of the different treatment
techniques used in these centers: 3DRT, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS

Responsible for reviewing all plans performed by the rest of the team: 4 physicists and
2 dosimetrists
Responsible for having all inputs, materials, and equipment for the correct functioning
of clinical and physics operations: immobilizers, hardware spare parts, bolus,
equipment calibration and repair coordination, TLD intercomparisons, etc.
Have been responsible for filling out all technical requirements required by the local
competent authorities for licensing all practices
Have commissioned three Linacs within the last four years: Varian 600C, 2100C and
Trilogy along with Aria network and Eclipse. Have also commissioned one CT
simulator (GE Lightspeed)
Have commissioned four different TPS used in these centers: Kenos, WinPlt, MIRS and
Eclipse
Have commissioned one microSelectron HDR system, with Plato and finally with
Oncentra
Excellent use of Eclipse, Aria and Treatment softwares.
Excellent use of Mapcheck equipment and SNC software
Excellent use of Portal Dosimetry
Proficient use of all measuring devices for radiotherapy: electrometers, ion chambers,
beam scanners.
