Responsibilities

. Post survey completions by Surveyor provide access for ROW (Right Of

Way) for the piping activity

. Scanning (RD1000&8000)

. Plan and supervise all activities for trenching by proper allocation

of resources.

. Plan and supervise all activities for stringing of pipes before

welding starts.

. Supervise the welding activity of pipes to ensure that work is

completed on time with all quality and safety requirements met as per

procedure.

. Prepare the welding report and RFI (Request for Inspection) which

needs to be sent to QC before initiating inspection.

. Supervise the coating activity of the welded pipes to prevent damage/

corrosion of the welded pipes.

. While lowering of pipes conduct holiday tests to check any damage to

the pipe.

. Conduct air pigging as a final cleaning exercise of the pipe

. Carry out any other duties as and when required by the manager

. Carry out all activities as per the planned schedule to achieve target

dates

. Coordinate with all discipline of work and liaise with area

superintendent as assigned for day to day activities

. Coordinate with client and arrange the meeting to solve the technical

problems

. Liaise with the area superintendent for finalizing the weekly schedule

and daily work plan

. Coordinate with others responsible for manpower, material, equipment

and transport for optimum utilization and expedition of work

. To lead a team of technical/manual personnel and maintain harmonious

working relationship

. To lead the team of Piping Erection and ensure that all the

construction is as per standards

. To interpret instructions and related information into meaningful and

accurate work directives, drawings and guidelines

implementation and execution functions
