EXPERIENCE / CAREER HISTORY
Jul 2013 – Present Melhuish & Bateman
Temp Projects Administrator
Working for the Steelwork section, assisting with registering all project
documentation and work requests.
Raising Purchase Orders and checking in deliveries.
Printing architect drawings and plans using various industry related,
web-based databases.
Aug 2006 – Mar 2013 Shiner Ltd
B2B & B2C Administrator / Graphic Designer
Working within the Marketing Department of this Sports Distribution company for almost six and a half years.
Producing monthly and quarterly catalogues, flyers and other marketing material, using Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
I was also responsible for the updating of the B2B & B2C sites using CRM based web access. Ensuring accurate product description, alongside the product image. Gathering brand specific dialogue and product information to ensure the item was clearly and accurately described to the end user.
Preparing print ready advertisements monthly, using Photoshop and Illustrator, within the publication spec and ensuring this was provided well within the print deadline.
I was responsible for all imagery of products featured on the B2B site, which in turn powered the individual B2C sites (ie www.shinerskateboards.co.uk). Where necessary, I called the item from stock and photographed the product in the studio, for which I was also responsible.
Attention to detail in both product image and description, alongside accuracy in correct spelling, wording and an ability to create engaging copywriting for each product was absolute key to the success of the B2B/B2C websites.
Liaising with other members of the Graphic Design team for Video and other marketing material to enable the successful presentation of the company web and B2B sites.
This was a varied role entailing both Design elements and other administration duties within the department.
Unfortunately I was made redundant at the end of March 2013.
Feb 2006 – Aug 2006 Western Power Distribution
Six months Maternity Cover
Administrator within the Property Department. Using company specific databases and general correspondence.
1998 – 2006 Scottish Widows

Arranging travel for the teams on a regular basis. This also included buildings maintenance and cleaning arrangements.
1994 – 1998 Masons Solicitors
Legal Secretary – Property Department
Producing legal documentation for the Commercial Property Partner. This required great attention to detail and accuracy. Submitting travel and other expenses, invoicing clients and all other general duties associated with a Secretarial role. I also undertook the induction training for new starters within the Bristol office.
