Director of Engineering and Supply Chain Management:

> Accepted a newly created position with responsibilities overseeing

Engineering, Inventory control, Shipping/Receiving and Purchasing

for 3 separate business units.

> Travel on a routine basis to suppliers in China. Successfully

brought in and managed the technology transfer from Customers to

Suppliers, such as Institutional Furniture and Resident Hall

Furniture.

> Successfully completed a "New Shipper Review", for anti-dumping of

wood bedroom furniture, to obtain a separate tariff rate. This

required working directly with the U.S. Department of Commerce

> Laid out a process flow for SourceCut's wood processing equipment

and oversaw, along with the Director of Operations, the

reorganization and move of every piece of equipment within the

factory, including CNC routers, gang ripsaw, optimizing chop saw,

panel saws, and re-sizing and re-installation of dust collection

system. This resulted in reducing labor from 115% to 35% of Cost

> Oversaw Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities, adding 5

assembly lines and 4 new product lines with multiple skus for each

line.

> Developed a warehouse plan which involved closing and consolidating

a distribution center and moving all inventory and equipment to the

Promoted to this position in November 1999 taking over a department

that was experiencing serious performance issues.

> Improved supplier relationships, resulting in favorable treatment

through lead-time reduction, cost reduction, product availability,

improved quality and reduced TCO.

> Utilized Engineering experience to coordinate and improve ESI,

reducing time to market for new product development

> Negotiated long-term contracts with key suppliers, resulting in

controlling costs, improved quality and delivery, and provided

access to supplier engineering resources for L. B. White

> Improved raw material inventory turns from 3 per year to 5.5 per

year within 3 years.

> Managed employees of different disciplines, which included raw

material purchasing, production scheduling and traffic

> Implemented several VMI programs and stocking programs with

> Responsible for Product Data Management, which included Bill of

Materials structure and Item Master file part numbers, control

flags and classifiers. Became the expert in these areas and remain

a company wide resource for other departments such as Sales,

Marketing and Operations.

> New product design and development. Assigned new product

development projects that were unique and challenging, such as the

"Workman" convection heaters, Guardian heaters and Tent heaters.

> Technical Sales support for International Markets provided by

traveling to customers in Europe to provide direct training to end

users, service personnel and sales personnel regarding the

application, use, installation and servicing of L. B. White

heaters. Worked directly with National gas authorities providing

testing and documents for approvals to sell product within specific

countries. Countries traveled to were Canada, England, Holland,

Italy, Germany, Belgium and Hungary.
