PRESENT ORGANISATION

01. Reliance Industries Limited, Jamnagar, GUJARAT, INDIA.

Refinery - Jamnagar since Feb 2008 as a SR. PROCESS PLANT OPERATOR -

Refinery operation in Crude Distillation unit { CDU & VDU } (SATURATED

GAS CONCENTRATION UNIT) & (SEPARATION OF NAPTHA AND LPG FROM

UNSTABLISED NAPTHA) & Aromatics Complex.

. Two set of Desalted for desalting crude from 60 PTB to 1 PTB.

. Atmospheric distillation column having different fraction like

naphtha, Light kerosene, heavy kerosene, diesel, heavy atmosphere

gas oil. Reduced crude oil (feed for vacuum column)

. Vacuum distillation column having different cut like light vacuum

gas oil, heavy vacuum gas oil, slop wax, and vacuum residue (feed

for delay cocker unit).

. Saturated gas concentration unit for LPG-Naphtha separation and

LPG recovery. Unit having absorbers, stripper, stabilizer (de

botanizer), Sponge Absorber Overhead lean gas (H2S) {Feed for

ATU}

. I was fully involved in DCS loop checking :- DCS factory

acceptances test & site acceptance test of new Refinery

project, checking of loop checking, ESD, logic,

interlocks- Checking.

. Products which were produced here are 14 lacks TPA of P-Xylene, 5 lakhs

TPA of O-Xylene, LPG, Toluene and Benzene.

. AROMATICS- Tatoray Tran's alkylation's process to produce Para xyloene,

benzene, Toluene, Ortho xylene, LPG, off gas & Gasoline blending

material.

. EXTRACTIVE DISTILLATION UNIT:-

Technology: UOP

The shell sulfolane extractive distillation unit is designed to recover

a single aromatics compound like Benzene Toluene and Xylene. It

consists Extractive distillation column, Recovery column, Solvent

filtration, Steam generator, Solvent regenerator, Isomer benzene

column.

Product specification is BENZENE- 99.9%.

. Having good experience in Pre commissioning & commissioning, and start

up and shut down activities of Reactor, Columns, Heaters, Pumps,

Compressor, Heat exchangers and intermediate Tank farm area with

safely..

EQUIPMENTS HANDLED:

Fired Heaters: Heater technology by Petrochem USA. Natural Draft & Balance

Draft heater fully conversant with highly advanced Burner Management

System. (Dual fire burner & 115 MM KCAL / Hour.)

Compressors: Double stage centrifugal compressors by GHH borsig, Germany.

Pumps & Turbines: Knowledge of safe operating procedures of all type of

pumps & turbines.

Heat Exchangers: All kinds of exchangers mainly plate and frame Shell &

Tubes, Fin fan coolers & combined Feed Exchangers.

Flare Network with LP & HP Flare KOD Drums.

I have worked as shift in charge - Production from June 2001 to February

2008. Our organizations have an ISO 9000:2001; our plant is continuous

petrochemical plant.

Our Main Raw Materials: Ethylene Oxide, Di Ethylene glycol, Phenol,

Alcohol, Benzene etc.

Our Main Products : Ethoxylates, Poly Ethylene Glycol, MEG,

DEG, MEA, DEA, TEA

Equipment Handled

. Tubler reactors

. Ethylene Oxide tanker unloading operation.

. Ethoxy late loop reactors

. Routine operational work including observation of laboratory analysis

& operational conditions.

. Co-ordination with various departments like Safety, Quality, Control,

Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Loading-Unloading, Effluent

Treatment.

Generating report after each shift for plant details, including plant

capacity, any changes made in plant operational condition and plant

operational abnormalities.

EXPERIENCE PROFILE

KEY ROLE:

. Responsible for carrying out the field activities for safe & optimum

operation of the plant as per laid down procedures.

. Supervise the jobs related to all equipment and monitor & ensure their

performance for optimum & safe operation.

. Prepare, handover & co-ordinate the maintenance activities.

. Ensure strict compliance of HSEF procedures.

. Train the personnel for the continual improving the outcome.

FUNCTIONS:

1. To discharge duties as per standard operating procedures ( SOP )

2. To respond quickly to all emergencies like fire, trips etc.

3. To exercise overall field supervision to ensure that housekeeping is

up to the expected standard & the plant is clean.

4. To closely monitor & maintain the condition of various equipment in

perfect condition including cleanliness in his area/section.

5. To monitor parameters of the plant continuous.

6. To hand over equipment for maintenance & also take over of the same

after maintenance adopting all safety measures.

7. To conduct equipment trial once it is received back from Maintenance &

carry out equipment changeovers as required

8. Communication with Control Room and Field engineers/operators for

implementation of any action.

9. Ensuring the plant condition by monitoring plant Log books for

various activities.

10. Checking of all equipment for vibration & any other abnormalities.

11. Carry out Risk Analysis for each & every routine & non routine

activities (HIRA)

12. Issue Work permits for various jobs in consultation with job superiors

& maintenance crew ( Including Hot work as well as Confined space WP)

13. Perform the Field rounds, Audits and equipment checks.
