Career Summary:

Over 8 years of total work experience, including four years experience on SAP HCM. I have been

involved in the complete implementation cycle of SAP HCM including – requirements gathering,

configuration, UAT, training, preparation of project and technical documentation and post

implementation support. I have been the 2 nd line support for Botswana Unified Revenue Service since

January 2011 and have experience in handling Functional as well as Basis issues. Due to my strengths in

implementation the client has new requirements and needs enhancements frequently. My duties include

leasing with the offshore technical team to implement changes if required, etc.

Tasks performed: Business process analysis, HCM configuration, testing, technical documentation,

Profile: The project encompassed the automation of the core HR processes of Botswana Unified Revenue

Service. This automation was achieved using SAP HR Module with Document Management System for

archiving of HR documents. In addition to this, there was an independent Employee Self Service portal

that was developed by the company for online leave application by all the BURS employees as an

alternate to having licences for all the 1500+ users. This project was done on ECC 6.0 version using

ASAP methodology. I have been involved in the entire project lifecycle and currently approaching the

closure of the project. There were added challenges as the project was not successful in the first attempt

and half way down the line we had to replace the consultants.

Profile: Roads Department was implementing an Integrated Roads Management System which is a

integrated Line of Business Application integrating many sub-systems like Pavement Management

System, Project Management System, Help Desk System, Asset Management System and GIS. All

systems were integrated using Biztalk Server and was the first implementation of Biztalk in any

Government in Africa.

Profile: The e-Government, national portal for Botswana, includes the ability for the government and its

ministries and authorities to use EPIServer CMS to edit and publish e-information for the public. The

project spun across the Government of Botswana, with all its 155 departments and parastatals.

Requirements gathering were done for every department in the Government including interaction with

more than 3000 Government officials.

Profile: A need for automating the Project Management office of Botswana Telecommunications Corp

was identified. I served as the author of technical user documentation for this project. The project was

proposed to be carried out in two phases, in which phase 1 was to deploy a customized Microsoft Project

Server 2007 and Phase 2 encompassed the automation of the business process of PMO.

products and integration with various line of business applications.

system is currently being used by the entire Ministry and all the 27 local authorities of the Ministry.
