RESUME FOR DEBRA J. BEYATT

NAME; DEBRA JEAN BEYATT

ADDRESS **** *** ** *** ** STACY MN 55079

PHONE 651-***-****

EMAIL ******@***********.***

Hello My Name is Debra (Deb) Beyatt : I live on a small farm just west of Stacy Mn. in Isanti co.

I have 25+ years of experience with caring for and breeding animals..We have raised Horses,

cows, pigs, chickens, rabbits (for meat)

Llama's, Dairy goats. Dogs. Cred for many rodent pets while my children were growing up . Mice,

Rats, Hampsters, Birds and and Iguana. We owned and handle are own Sires for the Horses,

Llama's, and Dairy goats. Up until 2 yrs ago when

my Tennessee walking horse stud passed away at 25 yrs old...And priror had A Spotted

Percheron Stud purchased as a colt. Now 15 yrs old and gelded. So I am not novice to handling

animals, nor animal husbandry.

I do most of my own veterinary needs, unless it requires equipment I dont have, or surgery. In the

past belonged to the American Dairy goat Association. We kept a large number of Dairy goats for

meat and Milk. And were involved in yearly

herd improvememnt evauations. I own(ed) my own equipment to perform my own castration and

horn disbudding. And still do for occasioally for people in the community that may call ask for

help.

I have assisted in on farm surgery. And am not bothered by what that entails. The veteranarians

have all been comfortable with me assisting. I used to take dairy goats to the U of M Veterinary

school for the students to practice ultrasound on

after we grew in numbers. Many equine ultrasounds. Necropsy's etc. And were asked some years

back by the U of M to participate with in their west nile study, as they prefered to go to fewer

farms with larger herds vs. doing alot of travel on farms

with small numbers.

I have lost count on how many births Ive assisted with. Dairy goats are notorious for birth

problems with multiple kids. I have no problem scrubbing up and going in to untangle legs in

emergency birth situations. Had to do this for one of our Llama's

as well..So Im not squeemish.. The vets preferd me to call in these situations only if I needed a

Cesarean,or Euthanization..Reason I was quoted was "Blindly untangleing 8- 20 legs multiple

heads and body's can require imagination, with a

knack." and commented that " you've done so many, and have smaller hands being female. If you

can't get it..Its unlikely I will do better, unless you'd like a C section" So I went back out and

worked at it more. And helped out 4 healthy quads

I also raised Olde English Bulldogs for 10 yrs Free whelping..But because of the general body

style of the bulldog. Became familiar with, and used Oxytocin.

With all the different animals Ive worked with I am am familiar with and have participated in

Artificial Insemination ( AI) Oxytocin ( as mentioned) Lutalyse, and regimate.

I Handled my own Stallion/ bucks etc. And do most of my own training. So I know the concept

and practice of being Herd boss mare. Queen Doe, or Alpha female..Whatever the situation may

be. after assesing whichever situation that may pertain to.

I can also run Tractors, skidsters, and other farm equipment. And can hitch and travel with

trailers. I have trilered from here to Tennessee. And to The black hills SD. And everywhere in

between.

I Did have a Cosmetologist/managers license From 1991 -2001 So have skills also with sanitation, business, inventory etc.

I left the salon business in 2001 To help my father who was terminally ill..The salon just lost its

appeal after he passed away the end 2006.

I also currently hold a Mn DHS License in child foster care..And have worked with juvenilles,in

Childrens mental heath with a private agency from 1989 to present.

This has required continued education in medication management, mental heath, and behavioral

challenges etc.

I am an intelligent person with good social and professional skills. I get along well with others.

And can work independently.

I am physically in good heath, and can lift more that some teenagers Ive seen these days with

years of being on a farm.

I hope to hear from someone, and talk more of what the job listed may entail. I am in a place in

my life where I'd rather just work with the animals now.

Thank you

Deb Beyatt 651-***-**** ******@***********.***
