Senior Project: As team lead, I was involved with the design and fabrication of a single-dispensing newspaper stand. The objective of
the project required that the dispenser only allow a single media available per purchase instead of the traditional box of stacked media.
The project involved design in Solidworks (FEA), cost management with a budget, and machining materials. The total budget of the
project was $500 and fabricated within a 5 month time frame.

• Responsible for inspecting manufactured parts produced by Quality Magnetics for Government contracted organizations.
• Job required knowledge of using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and electronics for measurements. In
addition, parts were cleaned and inspected.
• Job also requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, namely Excel to log and complete data entry for measurements and
computations.
• Referencing CAD drawings for parts information, design specification, and material grade.
• Reports based upon parts failure to meet clients’ specifications were submitted weekly to ensure consistency among
manufactured parts.
• Helped in shipping and distribution department to ready outgoing materials and monitor incoming materials. All data regarding
shipping was entered into Excel formatted program.
