Provided in depth review and revisions to the Program’s contract documents related to cost / time for the two Enabling projects and the design / build Campus project. Reviewed / Analyzed / Reported on Contractor proposal, baseline, and update P3 or MS Project schedule submittals to determine contract compliance and work plan practicability. Reviewed weekly look-ahead schedules, project logs, daily field reports, and all other applicable contemporaneous project documents to assure accuracy of Contractor monthly update schedules, and time-impact analysis for requested change orders.

- John Muir / Mount Diablo Health System – Brentwood Campus Brentwood, CA

One of the two individuals performing construction management services on this 3 story, 95,000sq.ft. medical office building / ambulatory surgical suite project. Primary responsibilities were contract, cost, schedule, and quality management for the Health System’s TI Build-Out. Part of the complexity of this project was that it involved 2 separate Owners (a Developer and the Health System), using 2 different sets of Contractors / Subcontractors (Core/Shell and TI Build-Out), on a building requiring both local and OSHPD (CA Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development) code compliance. As a result of Core/Shell code compliance and construction defect issues, also managed a team of inspection and testing consultants and provided claims support.

- Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital / Stanford Medical Center Palo Alto, CA

Reviewed project’s contract documents and baseline schedule submittal and assisted the project team in Lean Scheduling, backward pass re-assessment of project scope. Utilized results of these efforts to create a revised baseline schedule that conformed to all contract required phase sequencing and represented all floor-to-floor construction coordination issues. While providing initial schedule updates, I trained on-site staff to provide both update and look-ahead schedules.

- Mill Valley School District / Phase 1 Remodel Program Mill Valley, CA

Provided CM services for 4 Mill Valley schools during Phase 1 of the Remodel Program. Primary responsibilities were constructability review, contract, cost, and schedule management for projects that could not extend beyond summer shutdown. As such, considerable coordination of design team efforts and IOR inspections was required.

Provided in depth review of the project’s contract documents and Contractor baseline and update schedule submittals to determine contract compliance and work plan practicability. Assisted CM in negotiations with Contractor for a revised, contract compliant baseline. Analyzed Contractor delay claims and showed that by removing unnecessary activity sequencing the project was actually ahead of schedule. Reviewed weekly look-ahead schedules, monthly update schedules, and time-impact analysis for requested change orders.
