Professional Experience

Lewistown Hospital 1992-Present

I started in the Histo / Cyto department as a clerical position, I was very

intrigued by the field and wanted to learn more so I independently started

taking some college level Chemistry courses and the Techs in the department

took their time to teach me the world of Histology, for which I am very

grateful. In the year 2000, I took my ASCP registry exam and became a

board certified Histotechnician, by way of being grandfathered into the

program.

*I am constantly continuing my education using LabCE, Medscape, and our lab

participates in H-Quip studies.
