Program Director: I was responsible for the day-to-day clinical operation of the opiate dependence treatment center. I trained all clinical and nursing staff in the delivery of methadone dispensing as dictated by state regulations and company policy & procedures. I provided weekly supervision to all staff and performed weekly group and individual supervision. I case managed 15 clients as permitted by management policy.
08/07 - 01/09 Turning Point of Tampa, Inc. – Tampa, Florida
Outpatient Therapist: I provided case management for 35 clients on a weekly basis and developed treatment plans and aftercare plans as required. I facilitated groups, individual counseling sessions and conducted weekly didactic lectures on addiction and relapse prevention. Outpatient Counselor: I managed a caseload of 24 English speaking adults and 15 monolingual Hispanics, developing treatment plans and aftercare plans for ongoing recovery. I developed the programs first Hispanic treatment track servicing monolingual Hispanics in the Danbury community and helped market the program.
