Performing as a Senior Data Modeler with SunTrust bank in their MIS department, Mr. Chirco is their hands on team leader
responsible for creating an Enterprise Data Warehouse that will be used as the Business Intelligence Repository for all MIS
reporting. The goal of this project is to replace the existing production ad hoc reports created using a multitude of software
languages with a consistent front end reporting tool accessing current quality data using governed meta data from a current
clean data in a data warehouse.
Data Warehouse Specialist Udig – June 2012 – October 2012
While on contract Mr. Chirco used his expert knowledge and experience with Informatica and data warehousing to ensure the
success of the projects that he was responsible for. One of the projects was to convert from Oracle to Microsoft SQL Server,
where he was able to overcome the differences in the data types between the two database management systems using ETL.
The other project was the automation of manual efforts to build reports where he was able to import the manual data as a
source into an Informatica mapping and using ETL transformations was able to duplicate the manual effort resulting in huge
savings for the client.

Mr. Chirco has very strong IBM mainframe technical skills along with communication skills that allow for quickly
comprehended technical knowledge transfer. Mr. Chirco has installed and configured Informatica products to support many
different configurations including: MVS DB2, MVS IMS, MVS IDMS, MVS DATACOM, MVS VSAM, MVS CICS, AS400

Mr. Chirco planned, designed and managed a development team for a web based Resource Management System utilizing SQL
Server and ASP.NET. He assisted in the development of the Kentucky MMIS UniPAS transition plan. Created a DSD for
New Jersey MMIS Phase II Enhancements which involved the re engineering and converting of the existing systems to a
relational database system utilizing DB2 and SQL. Mr. Chirco developed Use Case documents for the Kentucky MMIS POS
Drug Utilization Review relational database system. He developed Informatica ETL transactions for the Kentucky MMIS
based upon gap analysis. He provided support and maintenance for the Louisiana KidMed and Community Care MMIS online
CICS and batch systems.

For a major financial institution, Mr Chirco performed analysis, design and programming for their solicitation processing
systems. Responsibilities included: providing support for their production systems, troubleshooting, documenting solutions,
re engineering processes, designing cost saving standards, and training. In a batch, COBOL II, Oracle environment Mr. Chirco
designed, analyzed, programmed, tested and implemented programming solutions that saved millions of dollars annually and
trimmed a two week process down to a few days.

For a major manufacture in an APS, CICS, COBOL II, DB2 environment Mr.Chirco managed multiple teams and
planned, analyzed, designed, scheduled, programmed, tested, and implemented a sales force application, which
computed and tracked the goals and objectives for the complete sales force. He turned around a failing project into a
successful implementation within the existing budget and schedule. He managed a Sales Force Automation &
Promotional Ordering development project, which included a new hardware and software distribution to all sales
offices and field personnel.

For a major telecommunications company Mr. Chirco performed as an APS administrator and a project manager, installed new
releases of APS on both DOS and OS/2 workstations, developed standards, trained a team of 20 data processing professionals
in the understanding of APS, On line Express, & APS Report Write, and analyzed, designed, programmed, tested, and
implemented a fraud detection system. Mr. Chirco trained consultants in the understanding and use of APS/PC, On line
Express, Microfocus Animator/CICS/COBOL/Workbench and XDB. Programmed and tested an APS CICS DB2 real time
equity system for a major financial institution.
