The safety of the public is the prime responsibility of the organizations concerning transportation. In the
modern world where speed is also the criteria and mandatory that we provide the best safety conditions
of the equipments.
Our project testing of springs an idea to provide better suspension system.
It is clear from the study of testing of springs that it plays a vital role in providing the best safety and
optimum reliability. We the young engineers shall apply our mind in the most constructive manner and
contribute our best endeavor in all out efforts in building up our nation to be a strong nation and to be
exemplary in all aspects.
ACADEMIC PROJECT:
COUPLED FIELD ANALYSIS ON SINGLE PLATE CLUTCH
In our project we have designed a single plate clutch using cork as friction material.
We have done coupled field analysis on single plate clutch using two friction materials cork and copper
powder metal to validate the strength. By observing the stress values for both materials, they are less
than their permissible stress values. So our design is safe.
We have also done thermal analysis to verify the thermal properties thermal gradient and thermal flux. By
observing the results, thermal gradient is more for cork than copper powder metal.
