Resume:

Brian Joseph Graham

Apartment ***, *** Jefferson Parkway, Newnan, GA, 30263

Phone: 803-***-**** E Mail: **************@*****.***

Objective

I seek to join an organization that will give me the ability to thrive and expand my knowledge. If given the opportunity to, I

am able to work well as an individual or in a team environment. I am used to working in high pressure scenarios and meeting

deadlines. I take pride in my work and strive to succeed in any role I am fortunate enough to be in.

Experience

Tucker Communications February 2013 Present

Served as a cable, home phone, and internet installer for a major cable company that contracted Tucker exclusively. Each

day consisted of installing new service, diagnosing current customer equipment issues and adding new equipment at the

request of the customer. Used various tools to diagnose, repair and install equipment including meters to locate and

correct any signal problems leading to the cabling. Responsible for thoroughly checking all work and using knowledge to

put preventative measures in place to avoid future issues while maintaining detailed customer records for each call

worked.

Yamaha August 2012 – February 2013

At Yamaha I trained for my Yamaha Official Welding certification (MIG welding and TIG welding), which allowed me

to weld on Yamaha products that we worked on in the factory.

My welding experience included working on a Panasonic welding robot producing aluminum mufflers, partitions, steel

wheels, aluminum wheels and also work on the press line (making all materials that were in that plant).

Also worked with a 200 800 ton press on the line.

C & H Automotive May 2012 – August 2012

Working on a contract basis, my duties included various operations on auto mechanical repair and maintenance, such as

engine repair, welding (a skill I learned at high school and perfected at this role) transmission, brake, rotor, AC

Compression, wiring/electrical issues, etc. Paperwork had to be filled out in order to show the work that had been done

on individual cars with detailed explanations of what and where the error was.

C & M Recycling June 2010 – May 2012

It was here that I was able to get to grips with learning how to use a forklift and also my first position where I was to

manage others on my team. In all, I made sure that 5 other people that worked the shift were completing their duties as

assigned by the owner. I also acted as the mechanics repairman, fixing any broken equipment that we had (Moffet 3

wheel forklifts, propane lifts, Yale forklifts,).

Education

Yamaha Welding Certification August 2012

Forklift Operator Certificate July 2012

Adult Education Centre (Sumter, SC) July 2010

True to my word, one year later I took my GED and scored in the top 10% in the state of South Carolina.

Lakewood High School (Sumter, SC) 2007 2009

Unfortunately due to family illness and a downturn in the economy, I had to leave high school before I could graduate. This

was so I could get a job to support my family, but I made a commitment to complete my GED the following year, depending

on the health and financial state of my family.

Skills

I have extensive automotive knowledge (including repair, maintenance, configuration), I am well versed in contracting and

laboring, a certified forklift operator. I have various contracting and trading skills, such as welding, plumbing, brick laying,

painting & decorating and carpet laying. It would be true to say that although my passion and knowledge is with auto

mechanics, I am well versed in many laboring skills and am always willing to learn new skills to enhance my own knowledge

and keep up with the industry.
