Managed all maintenance and engineering in this 150,000 square foot

facility that manufactures both fresh and frozen baked products, including

cookies, buns, breads and cakes. Responsible for a yearly budget of $3MM

and a department that included 2 Supervisors and 29 union maintenance

personnel.

. Reduced downtime by implementing a CMMS program and training all

maintenance personnel on use of system.

. Reduced downtime and shrink by 25% after installation of preventive

maintenance program and training of maintenance personnel.

. Implemented and managed a process safety management (PSM) program for

ammonia refrigeration.

. Worked closely with Production, Sanitation and Safety on all issues.

Examples of capital projects managed:

. Managed the installation of a new $7MM bun production line that was

completed in approximately half the standard time.

. Coordinated and installed a $1.5MM donut packaging line for clam

shells and boxed donuts. Project was completed under budget and on

time.

. Coordinated with all contractors and personnel on a $2MM donut line

installation.

Maintenance Manager

Responsible for all maintenance on second and third shifts. Supervised 8

mechanics, including scheduling of work, training, discipline and

performance reviews. Managed the preventive maintenance program for the

plant.

. Reduced downtime by 10% through employee training and development.

. Implemented safety improvements to meet AIB and OSHA requirements.

. Rebuilt muffin line, resulting in higher efficiency and reduced

downtime.
