Trial Balance Bifurcation

This Application is developed for Bank Muscat Finance Dept. Loans and deposits file

provided by finance department are loaded in Oracle database through SQL loader. This

data is grouped based on GL code, Company code and currency into temporary tables.

On a GL level, balances in temporary tables and Dump1 are compared. Differences are

updated in the temporary table against identifier “9”. Non matching average and closing

balances are updated from Dump1. These updations are based on identifiers in loans

and deposits file. Once finished, GL description is added for each GL code. Report is

generated and is sent to Manager-Profitability systems.
