2012, May - Present: Project Engineer II, FN Manufacturing, LLC, Columbia,
SC
Currently support production efforts for all products at the FNMI
Commercial Division. Job duties include insuring bill of materials are
correct in the MRP system, pre-production testing of new products, solving
manufacturing/quality issues that arise during production, creating
manufacturing routers/OCS sheets and managing technical data package
modifications.
Since August 2011, I am the Lead Engineer for the Commercial AR Barrel
program. Job duties include reviewing customer prints for
manufacturability, developing and maintaining production drawings and bill
of materials.
2010, November - 2012, May: Project Engineer II, FN Manufacturing, LLC,
Columbia, SC
Provided support of the engineering efforts for the Model 70 product line.
Duties included developing red line prints and initiate drawing changes,
developed models using Pro/ENGINEER for design enhancemenets, design
verification testing of new models, assisted manufacturing engineering on
existing products and production issues and created costing roll-ups for
new products per marketing requests.
2005, November - 2010, November: Engineering Support & CDM Supervisor, FN
Manufacturing LLC, Columbia, SC
Responsible for managing highly visible, special interest projects
requiring tight deadlines. Supervised and delegated work to a small group
of CAD Technicians that support the Product/Project Engineers and reviewed
all drawing changes for completeness and accuracy. Involved in rewriting
company Pro/ENGINEER standards and procedures.
Supervised the Configuration Data Management (CDM) group from summer of
2007 to fall of 2010. Responsible for the configuration of all product
lines, submitted and received Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to/from
the government, and for the input of items into the Material Requirement
Planning (MRP) system. Completed the Certified International Configuration
Manager (C.I.C.M.) course in November, 2008.
2003, June - 2005, November: Project Engineer I, FN Manufacturing, LLC,

Involved in the design and development of various products for both
military and commercial product lines (M16, M249, M240, MK-46, MK-48, PM16
and FN303). Held the position of Lead Engineer for the M16 and FN303
product lines. Developed Technical Drawing Packages (TDP's) for the PM16,
FN303, the FN Family of pistols and MK-46 product lines.
1999, October - 2002, October: Mechanical Engineer, Marconi, Cleveland, OH
Involved with new product development for the Large Power Systems Group.
Directed and coordinated the CAD conversion of several products lines from
Personal Designer to Pro/ENGINEER. Redesigned of several older products.
Lead Mechanical Engineer on several cost reduction programs. Supported and
trained the Mechanical Designers on Pro/ENGINEER 2001 and Pro/Intralink
3.0. Obtained two (2) patents (Pat. No. 6,759,598 and 6,774,759).
1996, July - 1999, July: Mechanical Engineer, Contraves- Brashear Systems,
Pittsburgh, PA
Telescope Division:
Worked on the Airborne Laser Program (ABL) in conjuncture with TRW,
Lockheed-Martin and Boeing. Responsible for designing all small electro-
optical mirror assemblies utilizing Pro/ENGINEER. Involved in the
refurbishing of older equipment. Played a key role in the layout of the
facility for purposes of storage and the use of various raw materials and
tooling fixtures. Supported the Mechanical Designers on Pro/ENGINEER
issues.
Medical Systems Division:
Designed and developed prototype C-T tables while taking into
consideration the customer's specifications. Developed bill of materials,
assembly procedures, and the layout of assembly cells for the production
line.
1995, May - 1996, July: Design Engineer, Harbison-Walker Refractories,
Pittsburgh, PA
Designed various refractory materials for application in the steel,
ceramic, and glass industries. This position had extensive use of
Pro/ENGINEER.
